Maher Terminals

Completed design of a straddle carrier maintenance mezzanine structure at Maher Terminals facility in Elizabeth, NJ. The structure was designed such that it would interface directly with the existing building columns and allow maintenance personnel to access the cabin and machinery platforms of the straddle carriers during maintenance activities.
The mezzanine structure includes four (4) bays for access to the straddle carriers, also included in the mezzanine structure is a personnel lift, secondary egress ladders, and, lubrication piping to allow for fluids to be accessed by the maintenance personnel at the mezzanine level. The project also including coordination with the Port Authority of New Jersey.
The mezzanine is currently in the fabrication process and will be completed and installed in 2020.
